When it works, it's great. But when it doesn't, which is often, can be frustrating. Buggy at times. Integration to other systems is horrible. Things I think should be intuitive or part of the UI/UX isn't quite there. If I have music downloaded and my internet connection becomes weak or lost, the app should continually play from the downloaded file. Reaching settings to change to offline mode can be frustrating because the page is attempting to load via the internet when, in fact, there isn't.

Yes. There are ads, but they're not bad. I just moved over when Amazon boned all of their loyal customers. Edit. Gotta update my review after using the phone app in my car. Much different experience. Ads in the middle of a song are a deal breaker for me. Also. Don't add songs to my hand selected playlist. That's just aggravating. If I wanted those songs on my list, I would have added them myself.

I absolutely love Tidal, but a recent update removed my access to more than a few of my recently played tracks. Now the app will display a whole series of new songs, but the ones I actually love listening to are nowhere to be found on mobile for the sake of the new "profiles" feature. While I'm sure the feature is great, I don't want to have to make playlists for everything. I like listening to what I like listening to. Previously, it was all in my "recently played" list. Now, they're nowhere.
