Excellent new paid options. I always liked iHeartRadio but went elsewhere to get on demand music. Now with the new payment tiers I can enjoy my favorite music streaming app! I noticed that u even have some albums that I could not access on Google Play Music, which made me very happy. Also thank you for the excellent timely response from the iHeartRadio team in response to my inquiries via email. 😉🙂😂🙋

I am a conservative/science talk radio junkie! I love that many of the shows that I listen to have their own channel. So you can listen to shows on your own schedule and it is all in one way place! Other shows can be found by looking for your favorite local radio station that carries what your looking for. In addition, if hear of something, like tornadoes, that are occurring in an area of the US, I can usually find a local station that is covering the story with first hand knowledge.

I dropped it down to 3 stars because since one of the updates I no longer have the dropdown menu to show the songs or to be able to skip or pause. I have to stop what I'm doing and completely open the app now. Also when I close the app now it never truly closes unless I force stop it. I've had it where I ran out of skips the day before, came back the next day and it was on the same song when I last used closed the app and went to skip it and it said I had used my skips for the day already.

Why have podcasts when they are streaming only? The app works well enough to stream live radio but really fails when you want to listen to a program from another day, a podcast. Wouldn't connect well enough to stream anything else. Waste of time to download this. Nexus 6 Nougat.

The latest update sucks. I listened to a recordeded radio show that was broken down into three chunks. I liked that because I am not able to listen to it all at once. For some reason it's all lumped into on episode. Why can people leave something that works great alone. Or at least let me redownload the previous version.

I loveeee this app. I use it daily. One thing i have to say. Since it got updated while playing songs it cuts off. The just turn off the song the whole app logs off. 😥😭 whyyyy? I have to reopen the app and play again. In wouldn't do that before. Please fix. Other than that best music app ever!!!!

Update 5/26/17 Used to be good. Too many changes and not necessarily for the better. When I want to listen to Grateful Dead station, I'd like to hear more than one of their songs an hour. And I'm sick of hitting thumbs down for the same band over and over. Too many steps to close it out when I used to be able to swipe it closed. Not worth it anymore. Also sick of the pop-up for paid version. I'm done. Uninstalling and switching to Google Play and Sound Cloud. I can't live without my music and I feel like this is MY music. I can have my faves and discover new.
The team fixed the problem. It took a while but they didn't give up and started in contact with me everyday to help get it fixed. I can log in and everything is still there, so I'm extremely pleased with the customer support. "I'm only giving one star because you can't give less. I'm disgruntled that I can't log in now with Facebook." They fixed everything, so I retract my previous rating and give it a 5 star rating again. Thank you iHeart Radio.

This is abso-frickin’-lutely wonderful while playing in the background when I’m reading on my Kindle app - A MUST FOR ME. It doesn’t even drain my battery, either. The “Cherry and/or Icing” is, I was born and raised in Greater Toledo, lived in Metro Detroit for a decade, before coming back to Greater Toledo, and I can get my favorite stations from BOTH places through this app. I just love, Love, LOVE “I ❤ Radio” so very, Very, VERY MUCH!!!
Love iHeartRadio for the most part. Only problem I have is after the first few songs play the fallowing songs will only play 3/4 through then stopped and I have to skip to the next song or sister to silence. Get it together iHeartRadio. We pay a lot of money for little things like that to NOT happen.
I like it. Way better than Pandora in my personal opinion. Has some tweaks to be ironed out. A major advantage of using IHeart Radio is that there has been only 2 ads since I first installed it two months ago. Pandora is just ads with some music.
Honestly, back maybe 3 updates ago. I never had any problems with this app. However, after I made that update the app started glitching. Every time I start a new station or open the app the station goes on a skipping frenzy. Then it doesnt even play ANYTHING. I reset the app and nothing. I reset my whole phone and nothing. I love I heart over Pandora but honestly revert to last settings. I am not downloading the damn thing again for the 5th time.

Now my music gets cut off about half way through what I'm playing. Sometimes it won't play music at all and it will try to pay about 10 some at once. Very disappointed. Might go back to Pandora.

It is now saying I do not have a connection when I am on my wifi. I have updated, uninstalled and re-installed it onto my tablet but it won't go any further when authenticating. I am unable to listen to my music
Absolutely love it. Every now and then it will throw in a random song. That can be good to introduce listeners to new sounds..... Kind of backfires when you're listening to praise and worship music and a John legend love song comes on. 😐 At least stay in genre.
I really liked this app at first, but as time went on I did not like the songs it would pick per artist station as much even though I actively like and dislike songs. However, the app does give large variety of songs with each artist. E.g., when I choose Shakira radio I'm not looking for American Top 40.
I use the app to listen to favorite talk radio stations. I didn't like it for creating my own radio stations. It would pick sings that had nothing to do with what I wanted. And WHY is it so hard to edit the app? That is a major reason I don't use it more often.
Customer support sucks. Bought the upgraded service, but when I upgraded my phone it won't allow me to use the upgradedd software. Customer support has been less than useless

Stop trying to force me to listen to stations I have no interest in!! You can suggest but don't put them in my favourites list. You are becoming a pain in the ass!! Unreal...the beat goes on..!! 😠

So for the most part this app was pretty good, but now it plays for a few minutes and then goes silent. I have to press the stop button and then play, and it repeats the cycle. I have updated to the latest version, but that hasn't fixed it. Very disppointed.
This is by far my favorite music app. But stop asking me top rate you because once a week request to rate is getting annoying as all hell
Way better than Pandora.. I used Pandora for 3-5 years and it pisses me off cause so much commercials and you can't replay the song ur listening to
I used to use Pandora but now that I found iheartradio I no longer need Pandora. It's been easy to use and the music is great. The best part is no ads or commercials just music! I also enjoy the alarm option and waking up to my favorite music.
I love the app! I used to listen to it at work all the time before the took away phone privileges. 😕. Easy to use. The only downfall is if you listen to the same station for awhile you begin to hear the same music.
This app has all the songs that u look up and it helps me alot more than any other and it has no ads. And u can make ur own album and save the songs unlike Pandora.
I like the variety of stations and the functionality of i heart radio on my phone. Only problem I have is that if I want to listen to a particular song, I can't do that because when I search for it, it only plays songs similar to the ones I searched for
I love the app, but it could be better. Limiting skips just makes me switch to different channels which is just a nuisance. Also playing an advertisement while saying it's advertisement free is more than a little ridiculous.
Too many notifications trying to get you to use the app everyday. Then big hassle to turn the app off. Why does it have to be so hard to exit the app? Can't you just put an "x" in the corner like everyone else. Ridiculous.

Should be able to save certain songs to a playlist I can go to and play and just hear the songs I've saved. A lot of songs on my playlist I don't like lol the songs I do like on the stations are few and far between because I like so much diversity in music. Please help
Like this ap but it isn't easy to find all of the songs that I like. Sometimes I have to search a few different ways like title, artist, and genera to find specific songs.
Get the all access for a trip i was taking so i can listen to my play list offline and it doesn't work!!! Why have something that doesn't do what it is supposed to do?? Good thing i just got the free trial

I mean it works.... half the time. it forces you to watch the ads all the time even when you're just changing a station which gets annoying. The song recommendations could be better. They really just try to get you to pay for a premium version
My all time fav radio/playlist music media. Whether its country, rock, my personal fav, 21 pilots, nails the sweet spot every time. And finding unheard music is a plus. 5 stars!!
Only thing I take away is the fact a prerecorded audio will completely reset instead of going back 15 seconds or forward 30 seconds. Very annoying .
This app I think works great, easy to use, and also does much better job of playing random songs like the one I choose much better than Pandora does. The play list and song chosen are just far and beyond.
The music and ease of use is great however for the galaxy s7 edge there used to be a X to close out the app from the notifications menu. Now it's a pain to have to go in to the app to manually close it. Please fix it.
Why would anyone complain about this radio! It is awesome! It just shows you what todays society is really focused on, If it is not perfect you complain! If you can't give it a 5 star or if it is that bad, stop using it! Stop complaining and enjoy this great app that is available to you!
Just wish wifi was free everywhere. My favorite station no matter where I go! Can't get any better than this!
Annoying always open in notifications. Only way to kill it is to go into the settings and hit "exit app". Galaxy S8. Even when dragging down the open notification it cannot be killed by sliding it and there is no "x" to close as stated below by I heart.
