Aspose.BarCode is a free app for scanning and creating QR Codes and barcodes. Scan with your camera or choose an image from your gallery. Enter text to create a new code, then save the result to your gallery or share it with your contacts and other apps.

Data and permissions
Scanning and generation require an internet connection. When you scan, the selected image or camera photo is sent to Aspose.BarCode Cloud for processing. Text entered for generation is also sent to the cloud. Camera access is used to take scan photos, and storage or media access may be requested to load or save images. Ratings and reviews

The Data Security statement in this app's description says, "While using this app, you can be sure that your data is fully protected. Aspose.BarCode does not request any specific permissions and does not collect any personal information from your device." Yet when running this app with airplane mode on, attempting to generate a data matrix code results in an error: "Failed host lookup: api.aspose.cloud." Generating a barcode is a simple operation that shouldn't require a "call home".

Scanning frame moves after it take the picture. Scanning from image doesn't allow user to center the image. Too bad app
