NZ PAYE Assistant wraps around the IRD employer's PAYE calculator, saving you the chore of re-entering all your data every time you need to calculate PAYE.

All the data required to complete the IRD PAYE calculator is saved in the app, and fed automatically to the IRD web page, so all it takes is a couple of clicks and the calculation is complete!

All the IRD calculator's results are saved by the app so you an build up a history of the pays you have processed. For each pay, the app creates a checklist of the tasks you need to complete to process the pay, from uploading the Pay Day Filing file, through listing each of the payments you need to make to employees and the IRD.

If you forget to print the IRD's PAYE and deductions calculator results report or create the pay day filing file, you can re-create either through the app for any pay you have processed with the app.

In addition to the standard reports, it also gives you the ability to email or print individual pay advices for each employee. Note that if you wish to email using a Gmail account, you must enable 2FA authentication on the account, and generate an app password: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords. That link will ask you to log into your Gmail account, you then enter the App name: PAYE assistant and click Create. Record the password it gives you, and then enter that password instead of your normal GMail password in the app when setting up the email server.
