About this app

The app for construction professionals who want to know their cost price—and price every job accurately.

Looking for a construction quote app, a way to calculate the cost of a project, or an hourly rate that truly covers your expenses? Cost Workshop calculates your services per square meter, generates compliant quotes and invoices, and tells you if each job is truly profitable.

Designed for all construction professionals: electricians, plumbers, painters, tilers, drywallers, masons, renovation companies, and self-employed contractors.

YOUR QUOTES AND INVOICES IN MINUTES
• Professional PDF quote generated from your standard services: price, margin, and project duration calculated in real time
• Voice dictation of the quote: "Tile installation on 20 m²", and the lines are automatically generated
• Pro forma invoice followed by final invoice: compliant and locked numbering, corrections via credit note
• Legal information by country (France, Belgium, etc.): reduced VAT for renovations with certificate, reverse charge, late payment penalties
• Project visualization: a photo, and AI shows your client the look of the new material, directly in the quote

YOUR COST, DOWN TO THE CENT
• Services priced per unit of work: 1 m² installed, 1 electrical point, 1 flat rate
• Materials + labor (installation time × hourly rate × overheads): the true cost of each service
• Cuts and breakages included in the actual cost, finishing materials catalog, units per square meter and linear meter
• Fixed costs (truck, ten-year warranty, tools) spread across your units of work or covered by the break-even point

THE PRICE THAT PROTECTS YOUR MARGIN
• Recommended retail price excluding and including VAT: coefficient, markup, or gross margin — the safest method for a tradesperson
• Margin per service in euros and as a percentage, profit per unit of work
• Break-even point: how many square meters to bill each month to cover your fixed costs
• VAT rates for construction and renovation work by country: France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg…

YOUR SUPPLIER PRICES, UNDER MONITORING
• Scan supplier invoice: a photo, and material prices update — each cost price is recalculated
• Price increase alert: the app detects the increase and lists the affected services
• Low stock reminder in the morning, before visiting the supplier

AND ALSO
• Import a service by text, dictation, CSV/Excel file, or photo
• Accounting export (services & margins, materials & prices) for your accountant
• Exportable PDF records, cloud backup + multi-device sync (email or Google account)

From repairs to complete renovations, stop guessing: your quotes, margins, and project costs are right in your pocket.

Download Atelier des coûts Bâtiment, the estimating software for tradespeople, and take control of your project profitability.
