Navy PRT helps Sailors and fitness leads prepare for the Navy Physical Readiness Test (PRT) with clear goals, cohort-based standards, and a simple history of your own results. It is built around Navy Guide 5A (Physical Readiness Test), dated December 2025.
Whether you are training toward your next cycle or tracking progress over time, Navy PRT keeps the push-ups (2 minutes), forearm plank, and 1.5-mile run in one place and scores them using Guide 5A Table 4-1 for your age and gender (standards in the app are for altitude under 5,000 feet).
What you can do
• Set and refine goals with visual gauges tied to Guide 5A scoring bands—from minimums you need to think about through a strong target range.
• Log PRT results and build a history of past tests so you can see how you are trending.
• Review your standards cohort on the Standards tab with the same table logic used for scoring and goals.
• Open the official Guide 5A PDF from the app when you want the full instruction and policy context on your device.
• Manage your profile (name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, next PRT date—including whether that date is an estimate) in Settings, and keep goals aligned as your profile changes.
• Guided onboarding walks you through profile setup, explains how your cohort maps to Table 4-1, and lets you optionally enter a recent PRT or skip and add it later.
Privacy-minded by design
Your profile, goals, and PRT history are handled on your device for everyday use in the app—so you can focus on training without extra accounts for core tracking.
