Audials does not display any banner ads in the app, nor does it play commercials.

However, some broadcasters earn some money by playing radio advertising. Through advertising services, English advertising sometimes even runs on foreign language channels.

Learning to love using this app. I tried accessing Podcasts this way & discovered the advantage that it doesn't start playing the next one like Google does. (Polite.) Also discovered that if you search for an artist it will show every online station that is playing that artist at the moment! Took a bit of getting used to the favourites lists, but no real problems.

If you want internet radio and podcasts, this app is an excellent choice. It has lots of features, works reliably, and is free. The interface is somewhat busy and requires a little learning time, but the that's true of many other ambitious apps. Overall, it's a winner for sure.

Superb app, has facility to record individual tracks from thousands of Internet radio stations or just full shows if you prefer. I love recording and or playing stations like Flower Power Radio, Hit Music Sixties Irish Pub Radio, UK 1940's and many many more! I'm now listening to 24/7 Northern Soul which is non stop recordable tracks with no interruptions, get it downloaded, you'll be glad you did it! ✊️ KTF!
