I have a subscription and I pay for it all the time and I have repeatedly talked to people about this app it is really good when it comes to recording and singing I use it as a background for my music app but, even though I pay for it, it still from time, to time it sounds terrible no matter what .I have to completely delete, uninstall, and reinstall and It don't always work properly.. I've actually just had to give up and choose another volume booster still get three stars

well it's an inconvenience for sure to have to keep the app open for it to work properly. my screen timeout is every 10 seconds(non activity) so if you guys can improve that as well as usage without headphones that would be awesome. I'm hearing impaired, nearly deaf. Those are my only two gripes if you will, it was nice hearing normally again. the sound everything makes, I don't wear hearing aids and I guess I kind of forgot what the world sounded like without being sounding 10 miles away

I did some tests of the function, and it works very well. You can set the boost so high it hurts. But even 2x amplification can make a whisper at 2m understood. It definitely uses the phone mic, not the headset mic. About in-app: After a very short test period, only a few minutes, I had the option to wait for 5 minutes to use it again, or I could upgrade to the unlimited package for just $1.99! This is completely reasonable, for what you get. I recommend this app.
