the lock is great but the app is hot garbage. it NEVER works. it constantly gives error messages when trying to add or remove codes, the open/lock function works maybe 50% of the time (if you're lucky), and there really doesn't appear to be any way to troubleshoot it. if they don't fix the app, and I mean MAJOR fixes, there's no point in using it at all. once this lock goes, I'm just gonna buy a different brand so I don't have to deal with this nonsense any longer.

I agree with nost of the reviews here. The app seems like an afterthought. I bought this lock for the hands-free use and it unlocking whenever I get near my door. It works exactly one time and then I have to force stop the app or restart my phone to get it to work again. It constantly struggles to connect to my network or the doorlock itself. The app is hot trash. The lock itself is just fine.

our lock stopped working after 12 months. Support tried to help, but after multiple resets and factory resets, the lock still won't connect, so it's been completely useless outside of a normal lock for 4 months now. Yale won't offer any additional support or exchange any hardware with us. the batteries also need to be changed frequently. overall a poor experience and waste of money
