This Aussie Park Guide will provide you with an informative and interesting commentary of the Daintree National Park located in the stunning Wet Tropics of far North Queensland.

It showcases the two most visited sections of the Park; Mossman Gorge in the South and Cape Tribulation located North of the Daintree River.

How does it Work?

Each Guide provides a hands-free commentary which plays via your speakers as the vehicle, you are driving, travels through the National Park.

The commentary commences automatically as your vehicle approaches unique points of interest within the Park and provides an interesting and educational narrative about each one.

The commentary details different aspects of the National park including specific locations, unique Flora and Fauna and the Park’s Indigenous and European Cultural
Heritage.

In addition, directions, safety tips and recommendations are also provided, so that the occupants of the vehicle can make the most of their precious time whilst exploring.

The application is downloaded via WIFI, prior to leaving, and once downloaded it requires no internet signal or phone reception to operate, whilst driving through the National park.

Ratings and reviews

I love this app. It's a little expensive, but it seems to be for a good cause. I really like that it works on your location and we certainly learned a few interesting things about the area. I think there could be so much more information presented a good example was where a walk was suggested with three diverse eco systems, maybe describing these and interesting things to look for would have been very cool. I hope to see more apps like this in the future and that the features continue to expand

Unable to use without having screen active. Points of interest and comments are not able to be previewed before you get to the place and cannot be paused once the voice starts so if you miss anything you can't replay it. Need to fix this so you can go back to stuff. Its a great idea and the info is good but I would never pay for another site if this wasn't sorted. We probably got 40% of the info. FAQ in the app is thin while apparently more info on the website...please update app.

This was truly a fantastic accompaniment to our Daintree excursion and added so much to our trip. The information provided was interesting and informative and delivered right on cue in relation to where we were in the car. The guides voice was also pleasant, not unlike an Aussie David Attenborough! The app worked seamlessly, well worth the money.
