About this app

Learn to speak of your choice completely naturally, quickly, and easily. Based on the latest research in learning, the ‘Say Something in’ method helps you speak and understand a language from the very beginning and avoids wasting time on complicated grammar rules and reading/writing.

The app provides a ‘Tutor in your Pocket’ – giving access to multiple Courses. There is no restriction on the number you can use in Say Something in. You could learn a new one - and brush up on another - or learn them all!

The courses follow a Martial Arts belt system – with the complete course running through to Black Belt.

This Say Something in app provides free access up to the start of Orange Belt in each language. Give it a go and you'll be speaking that language in no time!

I originally heard about this app in order to learn Cornish, but I have to go through the GoCornish website to find a link to the course, and there is no suggestion that saysomethingin has a Cornish course on either their app or their website. I love the concept of how the learning works, but I'd just like an easier way to access the seemingly unofficial Cornish course :)

I've been using this app intensively for about two weeks and am really enjoying the experience. I've learned other languages previously using more traditional methods that focus on grammar and memorising long vocabulary lists. This is a departure from that and reflects how we naturally learn our mother tongue - speaking first and building on structures and vocabulary over time. That said, I hope the vocab lists on their website are soon added to the app and that course navigation improves.

I'm using this app for Welsh (south) and beta version of Spanish. It's really great in getting you to speak very early on in your new language. I feel like I'm making loads of progress with each. However it doesn't go into great amount of detail into patterns or why something is happening so it needs to go along with something else or a bit of your own studying. However I think it's an awesome addition to anyone thinking of learning and I've recommended it to many people!
