About this app

AVALONPLUS is a rule-based S&P 500 trading system for Micro E-mini (MES) and E-mini (ES) futures. Signals are computed once after the close — about 2–5 trades a year, no intraday screen time. The MES contract at $5 per index point is what makes the method tradable from about $10,000.

Every parameter is published and every figure can be recomputed in the app on your own settings. AvalonPlus helps evaluate whether a rule-based approach using index futures with reinvested, compounding returns can outperform a long-only approach over time.

Hypothetical backtest at a glance — starting capital $10,000, profits reinvested, MES futures, trading costs included, before tax, position size capped at 500 contracts, 2000 to today:

Compounding is the point of the method — and it is also why the drawdowns are large. The return and the risk come from the same leverage (roughly 5-10x). Figures assume a $10,000 account and are not proportional to account size, because position size moves in whole MES contracts.

Risk Visualizer: Drawdown scenarios and risk metrics across all four models — exposure, worst-case drawdowns and recovery times for position sizing.

Trading Journal: Track the trades YOU actually take, including ones the model never signalled. Set the position up in the Risk Visualizer and tap "Add to Journal": the running trade shows on the Dashboard with a live P&L against the delayed ES quote. Close it with your own exit price and a note. Each entry carries the same figures as a backtester trade, plus a summary of win rate, profit factor and average win/loss. Stored on your device only.

Daily Push Notifications: Receive end-of-day updates after market close. Premium notifications include the current model position, S&P 500 closing price, and daily change. Free-plan users don't receive push notifications — check back after market close to see if a new signal fired.
