About this app

CosmosView is an Android space exploration app that connects various scientific APIs in real time to put the universe in your pocket.

What it does:
On the home screen, you see NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day with its title and date, the ISS tracker updating every 10 seconds with live latitude and longitude, and the list of astronauts currently in space.
In News, you have an updated feed of space articles from multiple sources with a built-in search engine.
In My Sky, it uses your GPS to show you which planets are visible from your exact location right now, along with their altitude and azimuth.
In Gallery, you can explore NASA's historical archive of Astronomy Picture of the Day and the latest photos sent back by the Curiosity and Perseverance rovers from Mars.
In Celestial Bodies, you have an encyclopedia of the solar system with real data for each planet: mass, gravity, density, radius, temperature, and number of moons. All with a dark, space-age design featuring deep black backgrounds, cosmic purple and cyan accents, clean typography, and cards with subtle borders — designed to make looking at the cosmos feel like being in it.
