About this app

Websites collect information on you to build a unique online profile that advertisers can identify you by. Avast AntiTrack warns you when snoopers try to follow you and stops them.

Avast AntiTrack stops web trackers from collecting your personal data, and prevents websites and ad networks from creating a profile on you. However, it’s not an ad blocker. Whereas other anti-tracking software might block ads or essential website elements, Avast AntiTrack simply blocks their ability to track you, so you can experience the web as normal — no broken webpages and no annoying “disable your ad blocker to view this page” messages. You can also keep using your favourite browser. Avast AntiTrack prevents you from being tracked on Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, and more.

Avast AntiTrack protects your privacy with the following features:

• Reveals who’s trying to track you
• Uses anti-fingerprinting technology to disguise your identity
• Evaluates how private you are
• Doesn’t break websites
• Stops targeted ads

In a nutshell, we use state-of-the-art algorithms to disguise your “digital fingerprint” (i.e., your unique phone/browser configuration) and prevent you from being individually recognized
when you browse the web. This stops advertisers from building an accurate profile on you and learning your real age, religion, medical issues, income, shopping habits, and other highly personal information.

With Avast AntiTrack, you can easily:

Stop online tracking
You’d be surprised at what lurks behind the curtains of the websites you visit.
Advertisers are hidden there, aggressively recording your behavior and creating a
growing profile of you. Avast AntiTrack instantly blocks their tracking attempts and
exposes who’s doing it.

Disguise your online profile
Your phone configuration and browser settings are unique to you. They’re your digital
fingerprints, and you leave them everywhere you go, allowing websites to easily identify
you from a crowd of other visitors. We disguise your digital fingerprints to cloak your
identity and prevent advertisers from building an accurate profile on you.

See your privacy status at a glance
Get an overview of your privacy status anytime. Just open Avast AntiTrack to see your
current privacy score, view a list of the privacy threats we’ve prevented, find out how
many tracking cookies are hidden in your browsers, and more.

Browse as normal — no disruptions
Ad blockers can actually disrupt your browsing by changing website layouts and
triggering anti-ad-blocker warnings. Avast AntiTrack doesn’t block ads or mess
with how websites look. We simply crush their ability to track you, so you can
experience the web as normal — no broken webpages and no annoying “disable your ad
blocker to view this page” messages.

Secure your favorite browser
Whichever browser you use, your privacy is protected. We secure Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet and more.

Alert: AntiTrack can’t work with an active VPN connection. You can only use either AntiTrack or VPN at once, so you choose the one that suits your needs better in a particular situation. VPNs hide your location and secure your internet connection while AntiTrack protects your online behaviour from being tracked and collected.

In theory, it's a great idea, but it's priced itself out of subscriptions. $5 a month, $16 for 6 months, $26 for the first year. Then, every year after, $39.99. That makes the 6 month subscription the best deal. Tho, with sooooooooo many free options available, it's hard to justify the $40 a year. Another issue, which makes sense from a technical standpoint, I have both a paid vpn and firewall. Neither will work with the program. I would consider if it wasn't $40 a year.

This app comes with a sneaky little spy. It installs a tracking certificate in your phone. It doesn't let anyone track you because it's doing the tracking. I uninstalled this app and couldn't figure out why I kept getting a warning on my phone. I looked into it and found out why. I had to go into an area I've never been in before to remove the plant. Horrible app doesn't play well with other apps.

Hi Carlos, AntiTrack installs browser certificates so we can detect the trackers on the websites you visit and disrupt their data collection. All trackers we detect are displayed to you in the Reports section and this information never leaves your device. Your Avast Team

Absolutely a rip off! They give you notifications for apps you have subscribed too Tried to cancel, and their system kept crashing! They put through everyday until it cleared 3 days later even tho Id sent them a ticket for their site crashing and then told me no refund! I feel I got ripped off from start to finish! I would rate negative if I could!
