About this app

ACT Health is running the first Maternity Experience Survey in the ACT and your feedback will let us know what we are doing well, if improvements are being experienced positively, and where we need to focus our attention for further improvement.
Through the Maternity in Focus reforms, our vision is for the ACT to be the best place in the world to have a baby. We can only do this in partnership with women, birthing people and the community.
This survey is an opportunity to tell us how we can continue to improve maternity care in the ACT. We want to ensure we are providing the right maternity care at the right time, which meets the needs of the woman or pregnant person and their family. Maternity in Focus represents the first steps to evolve our maternity system to become more woman- and person-centred and continue to support our valued frontline healthcare workers. The survey includes questions about your experiences through your maternity journey including antenatal care, at the birth and after giving birth. The questions can be completed at your pace: all at once or a few questions at a time. You will be sent a second survey when your baby is six weeks old to ask you about the care you have received after giving birth.
All information is encrypted immediately after it is recorded and is only accessible by approved ACT Health staff via secure protocols.
