About this game

Scavenger Scan drops you into a dying console on the edge of the band: a retro‑CRT scanning deck where every sweep might pull a real fragment from the noise—or nothing but static and scrap.

How it plays
Dial frequency and amplitude until your SYNC locks onto the ghost trace. Stay in the pocket long enough to extract a packet. Sometimes you get empty signal, sometimes redundant data converted to scrap, and sometimes a brand‑new record for the archive. Heat, drift, and interference keep the deck honest.

Depth beyond the scan
Spend SCRAP in Calibration to install eight modules—dampers, noise filter, cooling, auto‑magnet, precision buffer, fast decrypt, scout sense, and scrap booster—each nudging how the scanner feels and what you’re likely to recover. Browse decrypted lines in the Database like a field tech paging through a corrupted log.

Atmosphere
Scanlines, vignette, signal twitch, typing‑style log readouts, and audio that hums with interference until you near the sweet spot—then the clean tone cuts through. Sound and haptics respect your Settings; tune the experience the way you like.
