About this app
Aych Radio Toolkit is a practical radio stream tester designed to help you find, test and prepare internet stations before adding them to Aych Radio.
Whether you already have a direct stream URL or only know the station name, Toolkit gives you a simple workflow for checking the stream, previewing playback, creating station artwork and sending the finished station to Aych Radio for review and saving.
TEST RADIO STREAMS
Already have a direct audio stream URL?
Enter the station name and an HTTP or HTTPS stream URL, then use Direct Stream Test to check whether the stream is working.
A successful test unlocks the next steps, including stream preview, station artwork creation and sending the station to Aych Radio.
A normal station webpage is not necessarily a playable stream. Toolkit is designed to test direct audio stream URLs.
FIND STATIONS BY NAME
Don't know the stream URL?
Search for the station by name using the built-in Radio Browser directory.
Toolkit can:
• Search for matching stations
• Find usable stream candidates
• Test selected streams automatically
• Try alternative candidates when available
• Preview a working stream before you add it
If Radio Browser cannot find a usable stream, Toolkit can optionally direct you to the external fmstream.org website, where you can search manually for a direct stream URL and return to Toolkit to test it.
PREVIEW BEFORE ADDING
Once a stream passes testing, use Preview to listen before sending anything to Aych Radio.
This gives you a chance to confirm that you have found the station and stream you actually want.
CREATE STATION ARTWORK
Give your stations a more personal look with Logo Creator.
After a successful stream test you can:
• Choose from station-logo templates
• Explore different colourways and styles
• Preview artwork for Aych Radio
• See how the design will look in Now Playing and station-card formats
• Select your preferred artwork for the station transfer
Artwork is created on your device and can accompany the station when it is sent to Aych Radio.
SEND TO AYCH RADIO
When everything is ready, send the station directly to Aych Radio.
Toolkit transfers the station name, tested stream URL and selected artwork where available.
Aych Radio then opens so you can review the details before saving the station. Toolkit does not automatically save stations into Aych Radio.
Aych Radio must be installed and able to receive the station.

You can skip the guide on first launch and open it again later from Help whenever you need it.

• Light Mode
• System Default
Toolkit remembers your selected appearance.
FREE USE AND TOOLKIT PRO
The free version lets you try the core Toolkit workflow with a limited number of successful uses.
Toolkit Pro provides unlimited use through a one-time Google Play purchase.
Failed stream tests do not count as successful uses.
