Important: BackToLife does not modify the official Instagram, YouTube, or X apps. It works by loading their web versions inside a controlled browsing environment, where you can apply filters to reduce distractions and regain control.

HOW IT WORKS

BackToLife opens social media platforms through their web versions inside the app.

From there, you can activate filters to hide sections like Reels, Shorts, Explore, For You, suggestions, comments, notifications, or autoplay.

This helps you open your social media to do what you actually intended to do, without falling into endless content.

STRICT SCHEDULE

Choose time blocks where your configuration stays locked.

For example: from 9:00 to 23:00 every day.

During that schedule, you cannot disable filters or change your restrictions. Outside the strict schedule, you regain full control of your settings.

Every day you complete your strict schedule adds one day to your streak.

If you break the schedule by disabling filters during locked hours, your streak resets to zero.

You can see your current streak and your record to track your progress in a simple, visual way.

Accessibility permission
BackToLife uses Android's Accessibility Service to power its app-blocking feature. With your explicit consent, it detects when an app you've chosen to block is opened and shows a blocking screen, helping you reduce time on distracting apps.
BackToLife uses the Accessibility Service only for this on-device app-blocking function. It does not collect or share personal data, read screen content, record audio, change your settings without permission, or stop you from disabling or uninstalling apps. You can turn it off anytime in your device's Accessibility settings.

It is good, but it usually bugs and, as it is only Instagram and yt on a web browser, it'll had a very bad UI

horrible the multi language option being premium

Works very well. It's a little bit slow, but it isn't a big deal. It looks rustic, but it's obvious the app is in early development, so it's ok. It helps a lot to avoid procrastinating by watching reels or something 🙏

• Filters no longer flash unfiltered content when a feed opens.
• Children linked to a parent must enter the parent passcode to log out.
