The Balboa Worldwide App (bwa™), is an app for your Android® device that allows you to access your hot tub via a direct connection anywhere in the local proximity of your tub, anywhere in your house that you can connect to your local WiFi network, or anywhere in the World you have an internet connection to your smart device via 3G, 4G, or WiFi hot spots.

With the bwa™ app, you can ensure that your hot tub will be ready whenever you want to take a dip. Instead of going outside and pressing buttons on the topside panel, the app lets you start the tub and change settings from your smartphone or tablet.

The App provides full interface control so you can set the temperature, turn pumps on and off and even set filtration cycles.

Ratings and reviews

App is def missing features, like the BLUETOOTH which would simplify using the speakers within. Also a update would be def in order to keep it working properly. The cloud Connect works sometimes and sometimes not. Def would like for it to work when on way home from a long day and want to relax in the hotub, to have it ready when I arrive

Edit: i don't think anyone is working on this app... Not for a long time... The "menu" pops up constantly and blocks the UI, when hitting local connect it shows a spinner and then fails, showing the menu again, even though it updated the UI in the background. In the rare case it connects properly it does not update the set temperature. Special feature: the cloud account does not allow special characters in the password, that's a new one 🤣

The app has always worked poorly. The phone & hottub indicate they are connected but disconnect frequently, so you must close the app & reopen to control the settings. Usually by several disconnects, closing then reopening the program I could get the pumps on/off as desired. Annoying! And time consuming. Upon opening the app it prompted an update to fix the above described bugs. Oh happy day, my problem corrected...NOT! Now I cannot control the spa at all ( phone states the spa is connected).
