Place one cat in every row, every column and every coloured nook — and never
let two cats sit next to each other, not even diagonally.
That is the whole game. Everything else is you, thinking.
SOLVABLE BY LOGIC. ALWAYS.
Every single board is checked by a solver before it ever reaches you. If a
puzzle cannot be finished by reasoning alone, it is thrown away and another is
generated. You will never hit a board that forces a coin-flip, and you will
never lose a heart to a guess you had no way of avoiding.
That sounds like a small promise. It is the whole reason this game exists.
AN AD EVERY THIRD LEVEL. NOT EVERY ONE.
No advert will ever interrupt a puzzle you are in the middle of. No advert when
you restart a level. No banner sitting under the board while you think. Rewarded
adverts exist, they are entirely optional, and nothing in the game is gated
behind watching one.
UNDO AND NOTES ARE FREE. FOREVER.
Marking a cell as "maybe" is not a bonus feature, it is how the puzzle is
solved. So is undoing a slip of the thumb. Both are free, both always will be,
and we will not take them away later to sell them back to you.
HINTS THAT TEACH
A hint here does not just light up a square. It names the deduction — which row,
which nook, and why that cell is the only one left. Use a few and you start
seeing the patterns yourself, which is the point.
WHAT IS INSIDE
· Hundreds of hand-tuned levels, from gentle 5x5 boards to ferocious 10x10 ones
· A fresh daily puzzle, generated offline, the same for everyone that day
· Five difficulty bands: Kitten, Cosy, Clever, Crafty and Feral
· Three ways to mark a cell: cross it out, place a cat, or flag it as a maybe
· Earn fish by playing — never by watching adverts — and unlock new mascots
· Owl, panda, penguin, fox and bunny to play as, alongside the cat
· A colour-friendly palette with pattern marks, for colour-blind players
· Plays completely offline. No account. No sign-in. No server.
HOW TO PLAY
Tap a cell to cross it out.
Double tap to place a cat.
Hold to mark it as a maybe.
You have three hearts. A wrong placement costs one and leaves a cross behind, so
even a mistake narrows the board down.

Cat Nook is made by Balkrishna Enterprise, a small independent studio. We would
rather you finished a session feeling calm than kept playing because we annoyed
you into it.

One cat per row, column and nook. Always solvable by logic — never by guessing.
