Every hold is borrowed time.
You are a spark climbing an endless dark shaft. Grab a glowing cinder, whip
around it, and fling yourself up to the next one. But the instant you grab a
cinder it catches fire, and if you are still holding on when it burns out,
you fall.
There is one control: tap. Tap to let go. Everything else is timing and nerve.
THE LOOP
- Orbit the cinder you are holding.
- Tap at the right moment to fling toward the next one.
- Latch on, and that cinder ignites too.
- Hesitate, and the one under you crumbles to ash.
- Miss the catch, and it is a long way down.
Then you tap once and you are climbing again. No menus, no waiting, no
"continue?" screen in the way. Just one more run.
WHY IT IS NOT ANOTHER SWING GAME
Plenty of games have you swinging from point to point. In Spindle the points
are on fire. The burn window starts wide and closes the higher you climb, so
every cinder near the top is a smaller and smaller slice of time to read the
next jump and commit. You cannot camp. You cannot stall. You can only keep
going up.
WHAT YOU ARE CHASING
- One number: how high you got. Your best run is always on screen as a
glowing line you have to climb past, with a jolt when you break it.
- Sparks, earned every run, spent purely on looks: spark colours, trails and
shaft themes. 22 cosmetic unlocks, none of which change how the game plays.
- A 7-day daily streak. Show up, claim the reward, keep the chain alive.
Day 7 hands you a free trail and a free spark skin.
- Near-miss slow motion, combo chains, screen shake and haptics tuned so a
clean climb feels as good as it looks. A Reduce Motion option is in
settings if you want it calmer.
BUILT FOR ONE THUMB
Portrait. One tap. Made for the bus, the queue, the ten seconds before
something starts. Works fully offline.
FREE, WITH ADS
Spindle is free, paid for by ads: a full-screen ad now and then between
runs, and optional "watch to continue" or "watch to double your Sparks"
that you only ever see if you tap them yourself. No forced ad in the
middle of a climb.
No in-app purchases. There is nothing to buy and no way to pay your way up
the shaft. No accounts, no login, no multiplayer, no energy bars.
Just the climb, the burn, and one more try.
How high can you get before the cinders take you?
Every hold is borrowed time. Fling from pin to pin before the cinders burn out.
