SEE THE CAMERAS AROUND YOU
• A map of automated license-plate-reader (ALPR) surveillance cameras — often called
"Flock" cameras — built from public and community data
• See each camera's location, its approximate capture zone, and who operates it
• Turn on camera avoidance and your route steers around cameras facing your path, with
a strength slider you control. If no camera-free route exists, it tells you honestly.
• A privacy preference, not a cloak: camera locations are public data, and this layer
never sends your identity or your own location

PRIVATE NAVIGATION (BETA)
The big map apps tie every search and destination to your identity. BanditKin computes
routes on your phone.
• Fully offline maps — save your whole area in one tap, then navigate with no signal
• On-device turn-by-turn with posted speed limits, plus address & place search
• In the private modes, your destination and searches never leave your phone
• Optional Anonymous Online mode adds online search and traffic-aware routing through a
privacy relay — no account, no identity attached (off by default)
• Android Auto support and a clean dark map for night driving
Navigation is the newest part of BanditKin — fully usable today, with updates landing
constantly as we polish it.

CONSENT-FIRST BY DESIGN
BanditKin is for people who choose to share with each other. Everyone joins by scanning
a QR code in person, everyone sees when sharing is on, and anyone can pause or leave at
any time. It is not for tracking anyone without their knowledge.

What’s new

Navigation improvements:
• Search matches abbreviations both ways — "sw" finds "Southwest" and vice versa
• Lane assistance: where lane data is available, the turn card highlights the lanes to be in
• Turn cards can show route numbers and motorway exit numbers as updated road data rolls out
• Honest house-number results: if an exact number isn't offline, you get the closest known address, clearly labeled
• Smoother camera through turns, plus other driving fixes
