You learn your lessons the hard way, and I definitely did with 70mai Omni dashcam... Yesterday another driver forced me off the road on a highway. When I went to pull the footage for po, the loop recording wasn't being captured. It just stopped without any notice... I have not gone in to make any changes and it only started again with me connecting via WiFi to the camera, again no settings changes. This is a 3rd critical event that this dashcam missed! I'm down thousands of dollars because of it

Pros: It's a good quality camera, with a nice long cord you can hide in your molding so it's not hanging down from the windshield. Cons: You can only delete 30 videos at a time from the memory card, and it records a video every minute. It records even when you're sitting still. It's trying to be clever making "emergency videos" with some type of tremor sensor. It would have been more clever to have a GPS sensor to know when you're moving or not moving. My dedicated device won't stay connected =(

Limitations, and a lot. First of all, it doesn't store a lot of videos. No idea what determines how many videos it can store. It erases old videos even if you throw in a big MicroSD card in it. And, there is no setting for miles vs km and no way to disable GPS coordinates. No way to record scenic routes as it overwrites same day videos if you are driving long distances. There is potential but the developers are no genius! They could not think outside the box.
