Prepare for the Canadian citizenship test with English lessons, explained practice questions and timed mock exams. Study offline, review difficult answers and resume unfinished practice.

Study the ten Discover Canada topics
Read 20 focused lessons about rights and responsibilities, Canadian identity, history, modern Canada, government, elections, justice, symbols, the economy and regions. Open links to official sources as you study.

Practise with explanations
Work through 200 independently written practice questions. Each topic has 20 questions, including multiple choice and true-or-false practice. Check an answer to see a clear explanation. Search the catalogue, filter by topic and save questions for later.

Get familiar with the test format
Take a 20-question mock exam with a 45-minute timer and a pass mark of 15/20. Flag questions, use the overview to return to them and review your answers when you finish. The timer keeps running when the app is closed. Topic coverage in our mock exams is a study feature, not an official IRCC question allocation.

Keep learning at your pace
Choose a daily goal, practise a topic or revisit mistakes and skipped questions. Spaced reviews bring questions back after 1, 3, 7 and 14 days. Track progress, completed lessons and past mock exams. Resume unfinished practice, use dark theme and study offline.

Your privacy choices
No account required. Your progress is saved locally. The app displays native ads on the home screen. AppMetrica usage analytics is optional and can be turned off in Settings. Lessons, practice and mock exams work offline.

Our original practice questions are not actual or official test questions, and practice results do not guarantee a real test result. The real test is available in English or French; CanStep teaches in English. This mobile app is for preparation, not for taking the official online test.
