Learn guitar fretboard notes one string at a time. This guitar note trainer combines short lessons with interactive fretboard quizzes, so you can connect each note name to a place on the guitar neck. Practice on your phone with or without a guitar.

Start with the notes you need
Follow 12 short lessons from open strings and natural notes to sharps, flats, octave shapes and intervals. Tap the fretboard diagram to reveal a note and hear an optional synthesized tone. Each lesson ends with a check and can be revisited.

Test your note recall
Choose from four fretboard exercises:
• Find the note — locate a named note on a specific string.
• Name the note — identify a highlighted position.
• Find the octave — connect pitches exactly one octave apart.
• Find the interval — locate a minor third, major third, perfect fifth or octave above a starting note.

Check your answer to see feedback and an explanation. Questions do not repeat within the same round.

Focus on one part of the neck
Select the strings you want to work on. Choose frets 0–5, 5–9 or 0–12. Begin with natural notes, then include all 12 notes when you want to add sharps and flats.

See what you have practiced
Review your accuracy, completed rounds and lesson progress. The activity map records the fretboard positions you have practiced. Save an unfinished round and return to it later.

Designed for a six-string guitar in standard tuning, E A D G B E, from open strings through fret 12. The app teaches note locations and interval relationships through on-screen practice. The interface and lessons are in English.

Advertising and privacy
A sponsored card may appear on Learn; lessons and practice have no ad placements. Ads require an internet connection and involve technical data processing by Yandex Mobile Ads. Optional AppMetrica usage statistics stay off until you allow them and can be turned off in Settings. Detailed learning records remain on your device.
