Before you get started

To maintain your privacy and security, this app isn’t available on rooted devices. Instead you can access your account on your mobile by going online to barclaycard.mobi. Please note that the app doesn't support Intel processors.

To use the Barclaycard App you’ll need a UK mobile number to register.

If you’ve got a Barclays current account you’ll also be able to view and manage this account using the Barclaycard app.

i find the app slow and more focused on selling me new services than providing a good experience. Just so far behind the competition. Lacking functionality. EDIT: I've returned to Barclaycard, albeit briefly because they don't support Google wallet! So I'm closing my account again. I have an email telling me I have an important document to read. It tells me I need to do those in the app, however, every time I go into the documents section the app crashes and restarts. Support is awful too

App just crashes when I attempt to click 'View your Avios'. 'Not ideal' I thought, but I'll just pop a message over to customer service. Oh wait... The help tab is just a bunch of FAQs, with either no way of contacting customer service in-app, or it's buried in menus somewhere I can't find. What a terrible UX. If there are issues with the product at least allow the user to easily report and solve them.

Most functions return error messages whenever I try to use them. Most of the basic features seem to be missing from the app. The advice in the help section regarding using the app gives incorrect information (probably advice related to an older version of the app). Trying to find a feature/function is not that easy - things are not where they should be! Only use if you have no other options. I log into my account via my browser now. A terrible app from a company I expect better things from.
