A great concept. I have used it for a long time. Updates sometimes go stagnant and I'm sure the majority of the problems are outside of the developer's control. Television production is not a stable industry and some release dates have become unknowable since the start of the pandemic. If there was a direct way for registered users to contribute information, the app might have better accuracy on a lot of these shows. The pro upgrade is still worth it. This app is worth trying out.

App works great for managing a lists of movies and shows, as well as movies and shows that have been previously watched. You are able to get shows you want to watch added to a "watchlist" in app. If you add the show, the from the show select "manage list". This is the functionality that I wasn't able to find previously that lead me to leave a lower review. Since I see I am now able to have a separate list I've edited my rating.

The show watchlist is a Trakt-only feature. You can find it on the discover screen (tap +, then tap on Watchlist). Due to caching at Trakt a show might not display immediately after adding it to the watchlist. I recommend just adding a show to your SeriesGuide library. Uwe

Series Guide is my go to app for keeping track of movies and shows I've watched and am watching. I have tried many Android, Windows and a couple apps on Google TV. Hands down this is the best of them IMHO. My favorite feature is the ability to search within a series. TV Channels and Netflix don't always have series in the same order as the original order. Being able to search within the series makes it easy to find and mark these shows you have watched.
