About this app

Point your camera at a wall, a fabric, a car door. ColorScan Pro tells you
which reference it is — across six professional systems at once.

TWO PHOTOS INSTEAD OF ONE
A colour photographed under a bulb comes out orange. Under a cloudy sky,
blue. Most apps hand you that error. ColorScan Pro takes two shots in a
row — one without flash, one with — and subtracts them. What remains is the
surface lit by a known source, with the room's tint mathematically removed.
No grey card needed.

MEASURED, NOT GUESSED
Matching uses CIEDE2000, the international standard for colour difference,
not a naive RGB distance. Every match shows how close it really is, so you
know whether to trust it.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT DOUBTS
Too dark, overexposed, a reflection, several colours in frame — the app
warns you while you can still fix it. And if the area really does hold more
than one colour, it shows each of them with its exact share rather than
averaging them into a colour that exists nowhere.

BUILT FOR EVERY PHONE
On first launch the app measures your device and adapts: analysis detail,
capture resolution, sensor timing. Modest hardware stays responsive, fast
hardware gets more precision. You can override the setting yourself.
