Ratings and reviews

As many others have stated, this app does not recognize the Ultimate 2 controller. I tried pairing it in the Bluetooth settings beforehand, forgetting it and just having it in pairing mode with the app open, and tried with a USB cable. Nothing works. It simply never sees the controller. Your lack of responses to any of these reviews is concerning. Otherwise, it's a great controller. That said, I don't use Windows on any of my computers, so this is a bit of a problem for me.

If you want to customize a Ultimate controller, this app will let you do it. If you want to update your 8BitDo controller, this app is worthless. I don't use Windows anymore and MacOS has been a non starter for me since 2009. I contacted the company about a Linux version of the updater but their response was pathetic at best. I now have a Ultimate 2 controller I can't use. Thanks 8BitDo. I'll never support you again. I should have bought another Switch 2 Pro controller instead.

Does not work with 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Controller. All permissions are approved. Controller is connected and can be used to move around the Android UI. This app just says it is "Searching for nearby 8bitdo Bluetooth devices". It does not work. I was able to configure the controller and update its firmware using the Windows App, with the controller connected by USB.
