Very difficult to get a code to use the app. You have to join a Discord server AND wait for codes to be sent out, which are usually used in seconds by others trying to hawk the codes too. What makes things harder is that after you confirm your email address, if you don't get a join code that works within several minutes, you need to confirm your email again. Lastly, the STEPN servers were attacked during my 2 days with them, leading to a loss in tracked data and loss on various, material items.

Way too expensive. They nickel and dime you, the tracking is inconsistent. Trying to upgrade a gem costs 50 gst, 3 matching gems and there's 75% chance it fails. They change the rules and costs constantly. I have 5 pairs of sneakers and I've never made any money. I didn't use it for a bit and tried to log in to sell out and can't access my account. After 35+ emails stepn can't resolve it and just waste time asking for screenshots and explanations then can't do anything. feels like a rug pull.

Constantly nickel and dimed. There is no reason I should need to spend SOL to move GST from one section of the app to another. Why even segment them into "Spending" and "Vault?" Shoes purchased degrade in two ways, HP and Repair, and you need to pay to fix them both, by spending GST, in-app purchases, and GMT. I have put in $40 almost a year ago, and will be lucky to reclaim $2; not because of any market fluctuations, but because the system is built to slowly drain your account.
