Stay Close, Stay Safe Together

Be-Maps is designed for close friends and families who want to stay geo connected on the map.
Our purpose is to enhance your safety and peace of mind through geo-alert features, so if someone in your private Be-Maps Group needs help, others may do something about that even from a distance.
Be-Maps also helps to reduce the stress and anxiety of not knowing where the people you care about are. For example, if a child worries “Where’s mom picking me up from school?”, they can simply check location on the map or receive a voice notification ”Mom is close”.

Location Sharing When It Matters Most

One of Be-Maps’ key features is the ability to share your location presence on the map - only within your private group.
If someone in your group needs help in a remote area with no known address. You can see on the map where they are and assist.
For example you can tap and hold their latest location tag for 2 seconds to open Google Maps directions and get there. Also these directions are automatically copied to your clipboard, so you can paste them into an SMS or Email to share with others who can help.

Your Data, Your Privacy

Your Be-Maps Group is linked through a single private email - you need only one email for your group.
Thanks to this setup, (as a First Party) we never store or process any of your Be-Maps data. All location and alert information remains on your group’s devices and on this email (used for data transfer).
Be-Maps data is sent directly between your group devices using your single group’s email. Moreover every Be-Maps data transfer is encrypted with a different key.

Be-Maps was designed with following principles:
* To not store or process your Be-Maps Data on our end.
* Members in your group can check and decide if, when, and how to share the data.
* Not everyone needs to share data all the time, Be-Maps has options for that.
* Geofencing alerts/notifications include customisable sharing settings.
* Users can change the sharing preferences at any time.
