Begin Bright is a digital literacy platform that delivers on-demand content for parents with young children — and high-quality professional development (PD) for educators working in childcare settings.

Begin Bright offers bite-sized training and PD from any computer or mobile device. Experts — including career educators, pediatricians, and librarians —share proven strategies for ensuring that children are reading-ready by kindergarten.

With a few clicks, parents can explore common-sense ideas for promoting early childhood literacy — starting at birth. Educators can download completion certificates for PD credits or points — and license renewal.

Begin Bright is based on the guiding principle: For children, it’s never too early to nurture a lifelong love of reading.
