About this app

“HT” is a free internet intercom software.
At the same time, it supports network intercom and radio intercom real-time forwarding.
The main function:
1,The network intercom (using mobile phone network transmission)
        User-built group realizes multi-person intercom
        Optional location sharing to keep track of teammate locations
        Support wireless PTT and hand microphone to achieve black screen intercom
2, The radio intercom
        Save chat history
        Send and receive pictures via SSTV
        Send location reports and text messages via BSS signaling
        Send and parse the Moss code

        Optional location sharing via APRS\BSS format

        Communicate with radio enthusiasts around the world via APRS
        After connecting the device, it can be used as IGage to transfer APRS data packets between the Internet and the radio.
        Use an audio cable to let your regular walkie-talkie support APRS

        Supports network-to-radio, radio-to-network real-time forwarding for cross-regional radio convergence.

Ratings and reviews

The wording of the settings could be a little better ie have a section for specifically N7600 SETTINGS, eg specify what "device speaker " is (My N7600 or my phone or tablet?) Maybe also suitability for binding channels more practical locally instead of every feature having to route via China , which is another story ...Instead of having secondary devices to bind/remote from the app, why not independently route it UDP/TCP/IP by opening a port for audio within the local network not through China.

This is an ever-evolving great piece of software. However, I have discovered on my VR-N7600, when the signal gets weak the squelch kills the audio too soon - on The Fringe I can open the squelch and hear everything fine while the squelch is open but squelch level 1 is much too strong - I am trying to update from 0.8. 9 - 1

It does work okay 65-70% of the time - very buggy and force closes are frequent. Total and complete lockup of the app is a given. 1) there are many memory Leaks on Android which explains the freezing up. The other issue is the internet connection and routing - even if you are in the USA and set your Gateway to USA ONLY, it appears packets are routed thru a china Theres no real explanation for this, someone either setup the app to send all data thru China to peek at it
