Frankly, this is the most forgettable app. It used to be my favorite, but now it's really gone down the drain. The ads default to playing sound; people's "behind the scenes" videos automatically play now; if I tap on the BeReal notification my photos don't actually post, I have to close the app and post again; I used to be able to view all the posts from my friends at once and then select which I wanted to see, now I can't; the list goes on and on. It just keeps getting worse, never better.

BeReal is a great way to approach social media in a balanced way. That being said, since the recent updates, the Android version has been left without features and has become much glitchier than before. The app lags when I open it, sometimes having to be force closed multiple times before loading, which is quite stressful for the two munite window. Update: somehow it's gotten worse, I am often not receiving notifications for the Bereal, this app only gotten worse since I got it a year ago.

LOVE the concept and it's a great way for me to keep in touch with my friends, but the app is pretty glitchy. Edit: it has gotten much more glitchy to the point that it is impossible for me to post on time. I receive notifications late, and the first time I take a photo when it's within the two-minute window, it never uploads. I have to retake the photo until it is late, and then it finally posts. It is also very slow to load other people's photos.
