Parents can seamlessly track the apps their children are engaging with and keep tabs on the time allocated to locked apps, ensuring responsible and controlled screen time.

Improved accuracy with AccessibilityService
- To provide parents with more reliable insights into their child’s educational activity, Screen Smart offers an optional feature powered by the Android AccessibilityService API. When enabled by the parent, this feature helps the app more accurately determine when a child is actively interacting with educational apps, ensuring that learning time is measured fairly and rewards are granted correctly. Screen Smart does not read screen content, collect personal information, or control other apps or the device in any way.
This feature is fully optional, transparent, and can be disabled at any moment in the device settings.

We created Screen Smart because we see screen addiction among children as one of the largest challenges of our time. We are parents ourselves, so we know exactly how difficult it is to avoid that children end up as screen zombies. We have kept the app simple to drive healthy educational breaks because we know that it works. Once you have passed the initial threshold to install Screen Smart on your child’s device, and explained to your child that they are now in control of their screen time, the reward is less arguing and you will notice that your child actually learns with our app. In contrast to many of the educational apps that exists, your child needs to use Screen Smart to gain screen time. My child hates this app as the app barely gives time, and he just goes on right before bed so he doesn't need to do math

What’s new

A new look across the whole app — consistent colours, buttons and type, with
better contrast and bigger tap targets.

New: open the parent portal's Studio from the Learning tab and write your own
questions for your child.

New: screen-free breaks can now be set up from parent mode, and the setting
follows you between phones.

Fixed: an empty notification-limit box, signing out leaving the previous
account's screen time behind, a crash in device selection, and lost earned time.
