They allow 3rd party vendors and those vendors are able to bet on their own items (price hiking). The descriptions (brand new,as is, etc) are often meaningless. My "brand new" espresso machine was clearly used and turned out to be broken. The pictures provided are rarely helpful and you aren't permitted to open a box to inspect anything before hand. To make things worse, the customer service is absolutely horrible. If you ever try to address an issue they ignore, fail to answer, fail to help.

Item descriptions are not accurate. You are told that you can look at items at the warehouse prior to bidding but you are not allowed to open the packaging. When you pick up your item at the warehouse, which you're not allowed to look at until after they check you out, they will not give you a refund for broken or missing items. So if you pick up an empty box, congratulations you have just bid on that empty box!

Slow, frustrating, deceiving. This is the best way to describe Bidfta's app and the experience bidding and picking up the items. The app is extremely slow, at points you think it's frozen, but then it starts up again. You're better off just looking at items on their website. As far as the auction company itself, BUYER BEWARE. Sometimes you get lucky and the item is new in the box, sometimes you buy a 7 piece dining set and all you get is 4 legs. They tell you "SORRY, AS IS".
