About this app

This app is a health management app that tracks activity based on the user's step count. Users can check their daily step count through Health Connect-linked step count data, and the watch's synchronized motion detection feature allows them to accurately record specific activities (e.g., 108 bows). The recorded data is saved as an activity history, helping users systematically manage their health and exercise habits.

This app was designed for those who occasionally visit a Buddhist temple and need to do 108 bows, but counting them one by one can sometimes be confusing.

When Wear starts, the daily step count is displayed on the screen, as shown on the right. When the phone starts measuring, it counts down 3, 2, and 1, as shown on the left, and then measures movement, as shown in the middle image.

On the phone, select the user key, select the daily step target, and click "Save all settings and send to Wear" to synchronize with Wear.

At this time, the watch calculates the relative height and resets the current watch height. When you start measuring, the location for motion detection is reset.

Selecting "Start Measurement" will initiate measurement on the watch, and selecting "End Measurement" will end measurement. Measurement will also automatically end when the maximum number of steps selected before starting measurement is reached, and the app will move to the history screen.

The app's main screen displays your daily step count. This step count is synchronized with the step count measured by Health Connector, so there may be a delay in the step count display.

A list of motion detections received through the watch is displayed in the motion history. This information includes the end time, number of detections, and elapsed time. (Heart rate is displayed separately as maximum and minimum bpm only when detected.)

Steps (Step Data)

"The app reads step data from Health Connect to record and display the user's daily step count. This data is used to track activity progress by comparing it to a user-set goal (e.g., 108 repetitions or daily step target). This allows users to intuitively monitor their activity level and easily determine whether they are achieving their goal."

StepsCadence (Step Speed Data)

"The app analyzes the user's step speed to record activity patterns. For example, recording step speed along with motion detection measured by the watch allows the user to determine the rhythm of activities (e.g., walking, bowing, etc.). This data appears in the activity history, helping users understand and improve their exercise patterns."

HeartRate
"The app measures your heart rate. It measures your heart rate while the app is running on your watch. The measured information is used only to check your exercise status, and the collected information is stored only on your phone and is not transmitted externally.
