DEFAULT PHONE APP DECLARATION:
Billseye requires Default Phone App status to:
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls
• Display caller information during calls
• Track call duration for billing purposes
• Manage call state (hold, mute, conference)
Without Default Phone App status, Billseye cannot function as your
primary dialer. You will be prompted to set Billseye as your default
phone app when you first launch the application.
PERMISSIONS USED:
• Phone (READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS): Required for call management and answering incoming calls
• Call Log (READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG): Display, sync, and store billable call history
• Contacts (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS): Show caller names and create/edit contacts
• Accounts (GET_ACCOUNTS): Sync contacts with your Google account
• Notifications: Alert you to incoming calls
All permissions are requested using standard Android system prompts.
You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings.
