Saudi eSIM is a prepaid data plan for Hajj, Umrah and Saudi travel that you install on your phone before you leave the United States. The moment you land in Jeddah or Medina, 5G data is working: your group chat, the official permit app, maps between your hotel and the rest of the city, and the first video call home from Mecca.

How it works:
• Choose a plan for the length of your stay and pay with Google Pay or a card.
• Scan the QR code or install the eSIM inside the app in a couple of minutes. Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked; check compatibility in the app before buying.
• When you arrive in Saudi Arabia, turn on data roaming and the phone connects automatically.

Plans:
• Saudi Arabia only, a Gulf regional plan, or a world plan for layovers in Doha, Istanbul or Dubai.
• Fixed data packs in several sizes, and day passes you set anywhere from 1 to 30 days.
• Unlimited option: after the daily high-speed allowance, speed is reduced but you stay connected.
• Top up from the app while the eSIM still has time on it, whatever plan it carries; once that time is up it takes no more. It works as a second line, so your number does not change.
