"um", "uh", and dead air in your talking-head videos and trims them out in one
tap — entirely on your phone, with zero internet permission.

Stop wasting hours scrubbing through recordings. Drop in a vlog, podcast,
course lesson, interview, or screen recording — Silence Cutter analyzes the
audio, finds every silence longer than your chosen threshold, and rebuilds
the video without them. Hardware-accelerated export means a 10-minute clip
becomes a 6-minute clip in seconds, not minutes.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Auto silence detection — RMS energy windowing with adaptive threshold that
tracks the noise floor of each recording. No fiddly per-clip tuning.
• On-device filler-word removal — uses Whisper transcription locally to
identify "um", "uh", "like", "you know" and cut them with the silences.
• Hardware-accelerated export — H.264 + AAC via Android's MediaCodec, no
background CPU melt.
• Smart audio crossfade — 0–200 ms fade at every cut so your edits never
click or pop.
• Three silence handling modes — remove entirely, speed up like a jumpcut,
or keep a short gap.
• Quality presets — original, 1080p, 720p, 480p.
• Batch processing — drop multiple videos, process them all with the same
detection settings, walk away.
• SRT caption sidecar — when you've transcribed, get a perfectly synced

and the export it writes to your gallery folder.
