Bird Log is a calm, offline field journal for anyone who watches birds. Log every sighting in seconds — pick from 22 European species, add a location, count and notes, then let the app track your growing list of encounters. Your Journal shows every entry newest-first with an instant search over species, place and notes, and each entry opens to a full detail page with the bird's family, habitat, a short description and how to identify it in the field. The built-in Field Guide covers the full species catalogue with search and a family filter, and the Home screen highlights a rotating "Species of the day" plus your total sightings and unique-species count. Everything is stored locally on your device — no accounts, no ads and no location tracking. Whether you keep a life list, log the birds at your feeder, or just want a quiet place to record what you see on a walk, Bird Log makes birdwatching a little more mindful.
