About this app

bit21 is an open-source Bitcoin wallet that keeps you in control. Your keys live on your phone, not on our servers. There's no account to create and no ID to upload. Nobody sits between you and your coins.
It's Bitcoin only. No altcoins, no token lists, no noise. Already have a wallet? Import it with your recovery phrase. If you don't, you can set one up in under a minute.
What you get
Self-custody. You hold the private keys. We can't touch your funds, freeze them, or move them. That's the whole point of the app.
Open source. The code is public and MIT licensed, so you can read it, build it, or verify it yourself.

A note on responsibility
Self-custody means you're in charge. Back up your recovery phrase and keep it somewhere safe and private. We can't recover it for you, and if it's lost, your Bitcoin is gone. That's the trade-off for full control, and we think it's worth it.
