They want me to update my information. But their app tells me that passport scanning isn't working on my phone (even though it does). Otherwise, they say payment transactions will be blocked in November 2024. Is it already 2026, or am I just living in the future?!

The app requires a document update but does not provide any alternative methods. If your passport does not have NFC (as I have), there is no way to complete the document update at all, even though such passports are fully valid in many countries. Additionally, the NFC reading module itself is unstable and does not work on many devices, constantly returning errors. As a result, users are effectively blocked from using the app due to poor implementation and lack of support for valid documents.
