Do The Work is a private, structured 12 Step workbook for adults who want clear directions, practical writing prompts, and useful daily recovery tools in one place.
WORK THE TWELVE STEPS
Move through each Step at your own pace with plain-language guidance, focused assignments, writing prompts, and reference material. The app includes a two-week plan for early Step work and a compact schedule that helps you keep moving.
DAILY RECOVERY TOOLS
Use Nightly Review, Gratitude Lists, Spot-Check Inventories, Meeting Notes, Contacts, an Amends List, Prayers and Program references, and a simple Next Right Thing list.
FOR SPONSEES AND SPONSORS
Write directly in the app or use paper mode. Print blank worksheets, export selected work, and share only what you choose. Sponsor Mode tracks high-level progress without copying another person's private inventory.
PRIVATE LOCAL STORAGE
Workbook entries stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. You can create a password-protected local vault using AES-256-GCM encryption, save encrypted backups, and load them on another supported device. A workbook used without a password is stored locally but is not encrypted.
WORKS OFFLINE AFTER SETUP
Internet access is required for the first launch and updates. After the workbook has loaded and been cached, the app can be used offline. Printing and file-saving options depend on the Android device and installed system apps.
NO ADS OR SUBSCRIPTION
There is no social feed or public profile. One purchase unlocks the current Android app. There are no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
