About this app

Validate is a community built around meeting in person.

In New York City, members gather at real events, meet face to face, and follow up afterward. Member discovery, profiles, and messaging work anywhere; the in-person gatherings happen in New York City.

A community that meets

The Events tab shows real gatherings and progress toward the next Ground Floor gathering. The Ground Floor is the founding community.

The Spring Members Mixer took place on March 24, 2026. The Ground Floor Launch Party took place on July 11, 2026. Photos and video from both events are in the app.

One code at every event

Every member has a QR code. Scan someone you meet at an event to record that you met face to face.

Everyone you met, in one list

The next morning, Just Met shows the people you scanned so you can follow up.

Vouched for in person

After members meet face to face, they can vouch for fixed facts about each other.

Say what you're here for

Choose friends, dating, or both. Connection intent appears on member cards so people can be clear from the start.

Meet the members

Profiles include Reflections, short Q&A prompts that show more than photos. Conversation starters are drawn from both profiles when you open the composer. Members can also earn an Early Adopter badge and choose I Want to Lead if they want to help build the community.

Keep it going afterward

Messaging helps members continue the conversation after a gathering.

Safety and verification

Validate includes email, phone, and photo verification, plus report and block tools.

Launch access

Launch access runs through December 1, 2026. During that period, every signed-in member can use all current features without an upgrade.
