BuildVision AI turns construction plans into AI takeoffs and client-ready quotes. The mobile app is the field side of that pipeline: capture a plan, follow your takeoff, and put the finished quote in your client's hands before you leave the site.
WHAT YOU CAN DO ON SITE
• Capture: Attach a PDF plan or a site photo to a project — snap it with your camera, or choose an existing PDF/image file. Uploading is visible, failures are actionable with retry, and the app waits for backend registration before returning to the project.
• AI takeoff status: Start an AI takeoff on an uploaded plan, follow pending or processing progress, and review read-only takeoff status and item-count summaries computed by the BuildVision backend. Detailed takeoff editing, geometry, and calibration stay in the BuildVision desktop experience.
• Quotes: Open the client-ready quote built from that work — grouped line items with totals computed to the cent by the same backend your office uses. Quote composition remains a desktop task; mobile shows you the finished quote, ready to present.
• Share: Create or open a quote's public link and send it through your phone's native share sheet. The recipient sees the same public web quote your desktop team would send.
• Projects: Your plans and quotes stay organized in the workspace you already use — the app shows exactly what your account is authorized to see.
GOOD TO KNOW
• BuildVision AI requires an internet connection and an active BuildVision account. There is no offline mode; if you lose connection, the app tells you rather than queuing changes silently.
• What you can see and do depends on your workspace permissions and account plan.
• This release does not include CAD/takeoff editing, task or team administration, billing, costing, inventory, scheduling, push notifications, or client signatures.
