BLEA turns your smartphone into a silent search tool for missing persons.
Modern pacemakers and neurostimulators emit Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals around the clock, for the lifetime of the device. When someone with an implanted medical device goes missing, BLEA detects those signals passively in the background, even with your phone locked in your pocket.
How it works:
Download the app, grant Bluetooth and Location access once. You never need to open it again. BLEA silently scans for BLE signals from registered missing persons' medical devices. If your phone passes within range of a matching signal, GPS coordinates are reported directly to verified law enforcement. You go about your day. You won't even know it happened.
Every phone running BLEA is a node in a crowd-sourced search network. The more people with the app, the wider the detection net. One person walking past the right location is all it takes.
All detection data goes exclusively to verified law enforcement. Family members see only detection counts and timestamps through a secure portal. BLEA never shares, sells, or publishes location data. We do not track your location. Coordinates are only captured at the moment a matching signal is detected.
There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no personal data collected. BLEA is a public safety initiative. Built for humanity.
