Ratings and reviews

Gameplay: bad, repetitive and boring. Even if all the bugs and monetization issues were fixed, the gameplay is horrible. There is not a single challenge in the game. Nothing is skill based, you can't even dodge or actively impact the battle. It's just grinding numbers over and over. And all abilities and skills are boring to use. I don't mind laying for games but this is just a horribly boring game.

Looks great, sound design and voice acting are of a high standard, this is all window dressing for a shallow game experience. Those familiar with the franchise will find the customisation limited, and the loot system far stingier than that of the mainline series with many bosses dropping nothing except quest items. Both newcomers and veterans will find story progression obnoxiously locked behind a level requirement, the limited exp forced upon you in order to sell the game pass/in game store.

Great gameplay, terrible moneygrab and pay2win. The more you pay, the more loot you get. Core gameplay is awesome, especially for a mobile game, but the whole improving gear mechanic is built around the store and the need to have materials that surely you can grind for, it is just gonna take a hundred years, or you just buy them. At least indirectly, you buy purple balls with which you buy modifiers for Rifts that will then have guaranteed drops at the end. A subscription would have been fairer.
