About this app

OUR STORY:

BLU toothbrush app and smart toothbrush were created by dental professionals to help you and your family develop better brushing and oral care habits. Half of the American adults suffer from a periodontal disease which has been linked to many diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. We made it our mission to create a fun effective way to better oral care.

o BLU BRUSH LOCATION DETECTION TECHNOLOGY USING SMART TRACKING

Using 16 sensor areas of detection enables live tracking of brushing areas in the mouth, highlights where you've brushed, takes you back to any missed spots for 100% coverage



o FAMILY AND PEER CONNECT

A parent can link their children’s BLU toothbrush to their app to monitor how well they brushed and what areas they missed. BLU can be set to send a notification if a child did not brush their teeth.

BLU users can connect their BLU toothbrushes to compare brushing results and compete for a higher score, this can be a fun game with great health benefits.

Go back and finish brushing the areas you missed for 100% coverage.



o DENTIST / HYGIENIST CONNECT

You can share your brushing history and results with your dentist and hygienist



o PERSONALIZED BRUSHING EXPERIENCE

BLU suggests brushing recommendations based on your personal history and goals, for example, if you drink red wine BLU selects the whitening mode for your brush



o SMART BRUSHING TIMER

Ensures you brush for 2 minutes according to the ADA recommendations.



o BRUSHING DASHBOARD AND HISTORY

Displays your brushing history, frequency and displays visually the areas you usually miss



o WHEN TO CHANGE THE BRUSH HEAD

BLU alerts you every 3 months per ADA recommendations to change your brush heads. We offer replacement heads ordering through the app or you can enroll in the BLU auto-ship program for convenience



o POWER CHARGE LEVEL

Displays remaining charge on your BLU toothbrush

This app is garbage. It never stays connected to the toothbrush, it's impossible to reconnect without restarting my device, it's just pure trash and unusable. I completely regret investing in this as it's more of an annoyance than a help.

The app will not pair with toothbrush... ive tried everything and the manual is no help. The phone will pair with toothbrush through Bluetooth but the app doesn't acknowledge any pairing. The troubleshooting doesn't help either. Im not very tech savvy but i don't think its rocket science, or should be, to get the app to pair. Going to have to return this $100 toothbrush

I could not even log in. I installed the app on 2 different phones (2 kids), created 2 different logins, and when I tried to log into either account, I get an "incorrect credentials" error message.
