Retro Notebook brings the warmth of a leather-bound diary to your phone: a simple, fast and beautiful notebook app. And now your notebook comes with an AI writing assistant.

New in v5.0.0:
• AI writing assistant: tap ✨ in any note to summarize it, pull out the key points, turn it into bullet points, fix spelling and grammar, or finish a half-written thought.
• Tone & translation: rewrite a note in a formal, friendly, kind or playful voice, or translate it into any of 14 languages.
• Works on your selection: select a passage and only that part changes. Replace the note with the result or add it to the end — and undo it if you don't like it.
• Title & tag suggestions: stuck for a title? Get three, plus tags that fit the note.
• Your own commands (Premium AI): "Turn this into an email", "sort by date", "keep only the numbers"… whatever you can think of, applied to your note.
• Privacy first: only the text you're working on is sent. Locked notes are never sent, and you can exclude any note from AI entirely.
• Transparency: everything the AI writes is marked, and you see how much of your allowance an action will use before you run it.
• Try the writing assistant a limited number of times with a free account.

You don't need an account to take notes or keep a journal — the app works fully offline. Signing in is only needed for cloud sync and AI.

A little too simplistic, but great look! Have to change text manually each time, rather than saving in settings. **Update: Developer attentive and quickly replied. I would buy this instantly if it had vintage looking notebook covers on a "shelf" to look at like "Notebooks" app by DroidVeda LLP. Love the look and feel of this.

Dates are not correct. It's correct when writing, but after saving, it show the 9th month instead of August.

This app won't save hardly any notes and I'm so mad that I've thrown my phone about 20 times today!!!!!! I'd give a negative rating if possible!!!!!!!!!!!!
